I am committed to working with you in the most approachable, caring, respectful, reliable and honest way that I know. I will not make false promises; I know my abilities, limits and myself, and I will only accept clients that I genuinely believe I can help.

My approach is to try and be as flexible as possible in responding to your needs. I treat everybody as a unique individual human being, and different people are helped in different ways.

I will not make false promises; I know my abilities, limits and myself

There may occasionally be times when you would like to contact me outside of your next scheduled session. I do not object to this and will always be willing to communicate with you. Generally, I will be with clients during the working day, but always endeavour to respond to email, text or voice mail messages on the same day, either between clients, or at the end of the working day.

You can be certain of the highest degree of confidentiality. Everything that we discuss is always completely confidential.

Should you need to cancel a session, whilst I do respectfully ask that you try to provide 72 working hours’ notice, I do understand that, occasionally, emergencies can occur and it may not be possible for you to provide 72 hours cancellation notice. Because of this, I do not charge a late notice cancellation fee. However, if a client regularly cancels appointments at short notice, then I do reserve the right to cancel further sessions and to terminate treatment.

I give clear information about my fees. If you have genuine financial difficulties, then we will agree on a fee that you can afford. I reserve certain appointments for this purpose and, as far as possible; nobody will be refused therapy for financial reasons.

I am a member of the National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors and a Fellow of the Association of Professional Hypnosis & Psychotherapy and I abide by their code of ethics at all times.
